F-Type Plug Lock of System Physical Security Company has been selected and awarded as an excellent design (GD) product in 2025.

The product was firstly developed in Korea. This product helps to fix F-Type plug on outlets on power strip physically and to prevent unexpected detach. Through this, it will prevent any system failure to due to power down, and is an innovative electrical safe solution to reduce the risk of electrical fires that can arise from poor contact.

Since its launch in December in 2024, it has been used in various fields ranging from semiconductor manufacturing line to local hair shop, drawing attention from the market. With this award, it has officially been recognized for its technological stability and design competitiveness.

The excellent design product system is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and organized by the Korea Design Promotion Agency. Benefits such as participation in the “Design Korea” exhibition, public relations support, and additional public procurement are provided along with government certification of excellent design product.

CEO of COMXI mentioned that the plug lock is not just a safety device, but and electrical safety solution that protects the stability and continuity of the infrastructure. He continues that this award is an achievement that has been recognized for both technology and design innovation. He added, “The export outlook is also bright as major European electrical equipment companies using F-Type plugs, including Germany, are also showing great interest”.

The market predicts and foresees it as a realistic alternative to supplement the blind spot of power management. In particular, it is a product that is gaining huge attention in facilities that require stable power management such as data centers, financial institutions, and manufacturing sites.
